ABOUT
Shanhai-verse
While terms like "Ancient Egypt," "Babylonia," and "Ancient India" are widely recognized, seldom does one hear of "Ancient China" in the same context. Across silent heavens and endless cycles of time, Chinese civilization has endured. Millennia of wisdom lie dispersed in myriad forms—accessible to those who seek it, ever-present, never distant. This wisdom is not isolated, but an intricate whole, without simple spatial or temporal borders. To follow any thread within it is to approach its source.
Through this exploration, that source resolves into three seminal texts: Heaven's Book—the I Ching (The Book of Changes); Man's Book—the Huangdi Neijing (The Yellow Emperor's Classic of Medicine); Earth's Book—Shan Hai Jing (The Classic of Mountains and Seas). Together they form a trinity: the I Ching as foundation, the Huangdi Neijing as structure, and Shan Hai Jing as leaves and fruit. Rooted in these three classics, the aim is to foster the transmission and flourishing of Chinese civilization in the contemporary world.
SHANHAI CULTURE
Shanhai Art & Culture is rooted in the Classic of Mountains and Seas and operates through dual teams in the United States and Shanghai. The U.S. team focuses on corporate governance, compliance, and international partnerships, while the Shanghai team leads content development, visual systems, and project production. Six engineering systems turn research into infrastructure for art, games, film, collectibles, public display, and lifestyle products.
